The path of going up is related to the down movement.  the stairs mark the place / a staircase that we need to solve. Circular movement that provides the user to get out with the eyes in the middle of the path.
The steps to heaven to liberate the ground tension. The structure of the building supports on principles that are lighter than a footprint.

Initially meant to be a residential building, transformed afterwards in Novartis head office,  the regulation demands have created the emblematic image of today.

This staircase is a result of a project resolution, initially enclosed in it self, the common areas couldn’t be counted - so the stairs opened to the exterior … opened in the direction of the predominant angle.

The proposal has this characteristic in the way it connects with the existing environment,  lifted from the ground, its a dialogue between the constructed elements .  Creates a green platform able to dialogue with the environment aside.
And at the same time elevate from the street level.
